We are pleased to announce that Systematic Botany is available online as well as in print for all ASPT members and subscribing libraries. Online access, starting with Volume 29 for 2004, is provided through Ingenta, one of the leading providers of online periodical access, currently housing over 5,400 journals for more than 260 publishers. Below are instructions for setting up electronic access.
* Step 1 - Renew your ASPT membership.
If you have already renewed your ASPT membership for the current calendar year, please go to Step 2.
* Step 2 - Register with IngentaConnect.
To register, go to the Ingenta Connect website and follow the instructions given. After you have registered with IngentaConnect, they will provide you with a Customer ID number (CID). Please record your CID, user name, and password for future reference. You will need the user name and password to sign in.
* Step 3 - Activate your individual subscription to Systematic Botany.
Contact Linda Brown for your Subscription Reference Number. Go to the Ingenta Connect website and click on "Activate Personal Subscription". At the next link, fill in your user name, password, and Subscription Reference Number. Your activation request should be forwarded to the ASPT Business Office, usually within 24 hours, where your current ASPT membership will be verified. Once the verification process has been completed and the subscription has been activated, you will receive an automatic email confirming the activation.
