Assistant Professor of Biology and Health Sciences - Botany/Environmental Studies Position

The College seeks to extend its tradition of excellence in teaching and scholarship by attracting faculty who combine mastery of their disciplines with broad intellectual interests and commitment to the aims of a liberal arts college. The successful candidate will teach courses in Botany, as well as introductory and non-major biology courses (such as Plants & People, Fundamentals of Cell Biology) for the Biology & Health Sciences Department, where they will help manage greenhouse and herbarium resources. They will also teach one course in the Environmental Studies sequence (Introduction, Colloquium, or Seminar) each year and help coordinate the Environmental Studies Program.
