UNC Wilmington is in the process of hiring a full-time, permanent greenhouse manager. The manager's responsibilities include maintaining the plants within the Kresge Greenhouse on the main campus, maintaining and repairing greenhouse equipment, purchasing materials required for courses, and the greenhouse budget. Besides supporting the faculty and graduate students in their research and courses, the greenhouse manager also interacts with undergraduate student volunteers from various departments that enjoy learning horticultural skills. UNC Wilmington is a coastal university with approximately 16,000 students and is known for its vibrant marine biology, biology, and business programs. The application period closes June 14.

Requirement: Bachelors degree in biology or a related discipline or other appropriate biological/botanical/ horticultural training and directly related experience. Understands experimental procedures and protocols in plant biology and is familiar with plant based research.
NC Pesticide License should be obtained in the first 6 months of employment.
