Tenure track faculty/curator - University of Wisconsin-Green Bay

The Department of Natural and Applied Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is seeking applicants for a permanent, tenure-track position as Curator of the Gary A. Fewless Herbarium (UWGB) and Assistant Professor of Biology in the Department of Natural and Applied Sciences and Cofrin Center for Biodiversity, beginning in August 2019. The Curator will professionally manage a regional plant collection consisting of over 40,000 specimens, teach half-time, conduct research on plant biology, and supervise student researchers. The Curator position includes 1 month summer salary in addition to the typical 9 month tenure-track appointment. UW-Green Bay has outstanding facilities and opportunities for collaborative research in lower Green Bay, the Wabikon Forest Dynamics Plot, five UWGB-managed natural areas, a molecular biology lab, and other research labs in the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology.
