Volunteers needed at Botany!

Dear ASPT members,

Volunteers are needed for the ASPT booth at Botany 2019! As a volunteer, you will be promoting the Society, recruiting new members, selling T-shirts and stickers, and giving away posters and brochures. Importantly, all proceeds from booth sales support the ASPT graduate student research grants. The booth will be open Sunday through Wednesday, and we will need approximately 24 volunteers (two volunteers per shift). This is a great opportunity to get to know other members of the ASPT! If you are interested in volunteering, please email Carrie Kiel (ckiel@rsabg.org) with days and times you would prefer to volunteer. We will then contact you later this month to provide a schedule of specific times.

Draft schedule for volunteers:

  • Sunday: 7:30 pm-10 pm (set-up booth @ 7:00)

  • Monday: 9-11 am, 11am-1pm, 1-3pm, 3-5pm, 5-7pm

  • Tuesday: 9-11am, 11am-1pm, 1-3pm, 3-5pm

  • Wednesday: 9-11am, 11am-1pm (teardown at 12-1pm)
