The Chicago Botanic Garden hosts a paid ($6,250) ten-week summer research experiences for undergraduates (REU) program focused on the scientific fields of plant biology and conservation. Participants engage in all stages of research and build personal and professional skills throughout their projects. We are now accepting applications for summer 2024. The Summer REU: Genes to Ecosystems program is funded in part by NSF and interns supported through this grant must be:
*Citizens or permanent residents of the United States or its territories
*Currently-enrolled undergraduate students (enrolled fall 2024)
*Able to participate from June 10, 2024 to August 16, 2024
