Hugh H. Iltis

Noted botanist, conservation activist, and ASPT member and 1994 Asa Gray awardee Hugh H. Iltis died on December 19th. Daniel Bertram Ward

Daniel B. Ward, Florida Botanist, Professor Emeritus at the University of Florida, Gainesville, and ASPT member for 56 years, died in July of this year.  His immense botanical knowledge is evident in his many writings and contributions to our knowledge of the plants of the southeastern US, especially Florida. Here we post a link to his obituary as it appeared in the Gainesville Sun.
